About

Building the rails for the agent economy

Aperture is the transaction network where autonomous agents discover capabilities, negotiate value, and settle at machine speed — through a single API key.

Autonomous agents went from demos to production faster than the infrastructure around them. They can reason, plan, and call tools — but the moment they need to pay for a search API or a model call, they hit a wall built for humans: accounts, invoices, procurement.

Aperture merges the capability layer — LLMs, APIs, and packaged skills — with the settlement layer — Circle Nanopayments, the Machine Payment Protocol, and x402 — into one entry point. One key. Everything an agent needs to do real work, and a way to pay for it per call.

What we believe

Agents are the user
We design every API, error, and price for a machine in a loop — not a human clicking a dashboard.
Settlement is a feature
Capability without payment is a demo. We treat machine-speed settlement as a first-class primitive.
Open over locked-in
HTTP, x402, and open protocols beat proprietary SDKs. Your agents shouldn't be trapped.
